You may want to consider inviting someone from a different country to come and speak. This can be especially helpful if you are just starting to hold Events Weeks in your country and don’t have evangelistic speakers who are familiar with the concept of a University Events Week.

Will translation be necessary? This can be done simultaneously from the front or, through technology, it can be made available just for those who need it — this latter option is best where the majority of the audience understand the speaker, as it speeds things up. Remember that there can be advantages in having at least some of the talks in English (or translation available), as many international students won’t necessarily know the local language.
