In some countries and contexts the university may not be willing for the CU to hold events on the campus. For Evening Events this is not necessarily a problem, as students may prefer not to come back to campus after lectures have finished anyway. For lunchtime events it may be possible to meet somewhere close to the university. One CU booked a pub next to the university, another a hotel conference room nearby. One group that couldn’t book rooms through the university were able to book a cafe on the campus because it was privately owned.
